This job involved the creation of a filling and capping line for food creams in non-standard formats suitable for the client company’s B&B market.
We were asked to customise a solution that complements the dosing system already available to the customer by managing the available space.
There are 3 formats to manage: 2.5 KG – 5 KG – 20 KG
Proposed solution and execution of the order
During the design phase, our team was in constant discussion with the company’s technical department to create a 3D layout that met the customer’s needs and space requirements.
At the line infeed, a custom-built bucket destacker has been constructed to handle the 3 formats. The machine allows the buckets to be easily loaded onto the conveyor belt at the line infeed and allows the entire plant to be managed by a single operator.
The empty buckets are positioned by the operator on a load cell inserted in the conveyor belt and the product is dosed. The operator can check the actual weight through a touch screen panel positioned in front of the workstation.
The software enables the entire machine to be managed from the workstation, speeds to be set and different processing recipes to be created. It then unloads the bucket onto the idle roller conveyor and positions the lid.
Finally it drags the closed jar onto the conveyor belt, which takes the package directly to the storage area.
