The order involves the production of a plant for dosing canned food in plastic containers with the application of heat-sealed film and closing with a plastic lid.
The plant, designed in two separate monoblocks, is designed to be integrated with the customer’s existing pasteurisation and washing tunnel to complete the industrial automation process.
Our engineering team integrated the system we supplied with the necessary fittings and connections to combine it with other existing systems, assessing the feasibility from both a mechanical and an electrical and automation point of view.
At the entrance to the line there is a table with a conveyor belt for loading the empty buckets, specially dimensioned and chosen to hold 35 units, a parameter agreed with the customer according to the desired production volumes of the plant.
The inlet monobloc was sized to contain both the dosing station, consisting of a volumetric dosing unit with a dosing range of up to 5,000 ml and spouts specially constructed for the food sector, and a 50 litre ‘lung’ hopper, with the subsequent heat-sealing station equipped with a heat-sealing head specially designed for the formats and materials covered by the order.
To allow easy cleaning of the line, the structure has also been designed with a V-shaped slope and the insertion of a drainage tap at the bottom of the monobloc, a detail specifically designed to facilitate operators in general line cleaning operations.
The control panel is positioned between the dosing and capping station, equipped with a 14″ touch screen panel with preset recipes in both Italian and English. The machine control software also allows the washing cycle to be started and remote assistance to be activated.
Finally, the capping monoblock consists of a pneumatic capping unit that can be adjusted by means of a manual handwheel and is specifically dimensioned with the customer’s formats. Sensors inside the monoblock cadence the entry and exit of the bucket.
The system is supplied on a turnkey basis within 4 months of the order, including all spare parts requested in the order.
