This order involved the development and construction of a customized line to fill food creams in buckets from 3kg to 25kg with complete automation of the capping process and front and back end-of-line labeling with batch expiry marking.
The line is able to manage 5 bucket sizes with Ø 150 up to Ø 280 and dose different types of food cream, such as chocolate, taken directly from the customer’s product preparation tank.
In the first phase of the order, our technical team was involved in the design of the system, creating, based on the customer’s requests, the 3D layout with relative dimensions and adaptations to allow the positioning of the machine within the customer’s structure: yes the spaces are defined to allow the correct positioning of the dosing station in order to allow the withdrawal of the product and the final size for the unloading solution has been defined.
The line is made up of four distinct stations integrated into a single control panel with relative touch screen panel.
In the first station we find a destacker which automatically picks up the empty buckets and places them on the feed belt. This first station allows the optimization of the loading time of the buckets on the line and guarantees the required production speeds
In the second station we find the dosing monobloc composed of 2 SELF-PRIMING PUMP with reversible operation and two relative spouts with drip-proof valve. The dosing system is integrated into a scale suitable for measuring doses from 3 kg to 25 kg inserted in a specific support frame.
The third station is made up of 1 LID UNSTACKER – LID APPLIER, with a tilting system (with sucker) for the automatic positioning of plastic lids and the pressure capper.
The fourth and final station is the labeller, specially built and sized to allow the passage of the largest buckets and label the front and back and print the expiration batch.
The entire project was completed in approximately 6 months from the order and allows the customer to automate the entire filling process of the different products, guaranteeing an hourly productivity of approximately 600 buckets per hour (parameter defined based on the standard product and the intermediate format ).
