DOSING AND CAPPING
Operation:
The jar slides on a conveyor belt and is cadenced by photocells that allow spacing and correct positioning in the stations present.
The dosing station is equipped with a pneumatically operated volumetric dosing unit with the possibility of handling dosing ranges from 20 ml. to 640 ml. in a single stroke, and is prepared for the insertion of a conical hopper of different sizes for suctioning the product. Sometimes it is possible to suck in product via a hose directly from the outlet of a tank. The basic condition is that the tank is at a higher height than the dosing unit and that the suction hose is as short and direct as possible, as well as having the correct cross-section depending on the consistency of the product.
After dosing, the cap is picked up and placed directly onto the vessel by a pick-and-place system and screwed on by a descending head capper. In the operator position is
the machine control panel and a conveyor belt for manual loading of the caps, which can be adjusted according to their diameter.
The finished product is unloaded onto a fixed table, or alternatively the machine can be equipped with rotating tables of different sizes both at product infeed and outfeed.
