Jam and juice
Marmalade or jam is obtained by fruits, which are cooked and mixed with sugar and water. “Pectina” is the element that allows the compound to thicken. Jam is usually contained in glass jars, in order to preserve its flavour and nutritional principles. Dosing machines for jam and marmalade need a warm hopper to perform a hot dosing of the product. According to the product requirements, it can be dosed from a temperature of 20°C up to 95°C (over 45°C, the hopper needs to be insulated in compliance to current regulations). The hopper can be: smooth in motion (to keep the product moving during dosing and/or stationing) in motion with auger (in case of fruit pieces, in order to obtain a uniform dosing of the product in every jar) CM3 Engineering machines, designed for jam, cover all requirements, from manual dosing to fully automatic dosing. Our lines consent the passage of fruit’s pieces together with the marmalade, to obtain products with different densities. Jam semi-automatic filling lines are designed to produce up to 600 pieces per hour. On the other hand, jam automatic filling lines are designed to produce up to 2400 pieces per hour. With our machines, it is possible to produce not only jam and marmalade but also honey, juices and other products.
